My seven members of my family and myself arrived at the H10 Gran Tinerfe early afternoon. The reception was extremely welcoming, with a lovely bright area, including a relaxed bar and lush plants and most helpful staff. Considering most of us had seperate rooms and personal requests, the staff were very quick and efficient in checking us all in, with no problems.
My room was large, light and had a superb double bed with a very comfortable mattress. The view from my balcony was excellent too. The bathroom was spotless and the TV had a great reception (unlike other hotels I have stayed in).
That evening we all met for dinner in the huge dining area, where the staff were very happy to sit us all together on probably the largest table in the restaurant.
I don't think you could ever get bored with the food served, as there was so much choice.
At breakfast, you could even choose Champagne, with your Bacon and Eggs, or for the more health conscious fruit smoothie. (freshly made before your eyes)
The entertainment in bar area in the evening was not too good really. More designed for the older guests, but this was not a problem as the hotel is situated in the best possible location. Bars, restaurants and the beach are a stones throw away.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for couples, family and single travellers, as it it quiet, clean, friendly and simply the best location in Costa Adeje.
I will certainly consider returning sometime soon.

I stayed in this hotel in June 2003. I (and the person I went with) could not fault the hotel at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect and everything in the hotel was very clean. All facilities were in excellant, clean and perfect working order. If I had to try and find something to complain about the only thing I could say is that we could not find the triangle for the pool table!! If you would like to know more about this hotel/the resort please feel free to email me or leave a message on this website and I will get back to you. I have been to Playa De Las Americas about 14 (yes fourteen) times now staying in different accomodation almost every time so am not giving my oppinion of this hotel without comparing it to others in the same resort. Have stayed at this hotel on two occasions now. Each time found the food excellent. Great location with the Casino underneath. Despite its central location it wasn't noisy at all. First time we stayed in one of the rooms which was very nice. Second time in one of the Bungalows which wasn't so nice as it was ground floor and had a few cockroaches running around, but in fairness that may have been due to renovation work being carried out at the time in nearby rooms. Yes, we would go there again - no problem
