Hanioti nightlife

Hanioti Village really comes alive at night. Before we went we were told that it is not really a party place compared to other Greek resorts however none of the shops closed before twelve and the bars stayed open until the last person was in. The bar on the beachfront is 24 hours. What is nice about Hanioti is that it is lively enough and gives a lot of choice for bars and restaurants but it doesnt have the groups of drunks you might find in other resorts. We also found there is a hugh mix of nationalities with many Greeks having their holiday there.

Hanioti restaurants

Fantastic food and atmosphere at the Kassandra rooftop garden (make sure you sit upstairs and watch out for the kids giving out flyers for 10% discount) this was slightly more expensive than others but the food was delicious and hugh portions.

Lesse restaurant was lovely- we went there twice - reasonable price and really nice food.

On the square the tropical was really nice although it could get very busy with people in the square walking past the front tables

Just out of the main centre Amethysos was really nice - we also went there for breakfast a couple of times - really nice staff and you really do not have to ask for anything here- you will see what i mean if you go there.

Hanioti day trips

If you like to explore i would recommend the Sithonia pennisula as it has some gorgeous beaches which are not at all croweded. The Mount Athos trip was memorable because we were lucky to see dolphins swimming in the sea.
