This was an allocation on arrival, last minute booked holiday and my god we couldnt have been more pleased. This was our first family holiday for me, my sister, brother, mum, dad and fiance! And for a measly couple of hundred quid we ended up in complete luxury. The rooms were bright, clean and spacious. The hotel is well maintained and the entertainment was good fun. Great location too right opposite the beach and adjacent to McDonalds too! Thought the buffet food was good particularly the evening. There are friendly staff who engaged in banter especially Pedro the waiter and Wim & Carolina on the entertainment commitee! This hotel has all the facilities you could wish for with plenty of sun loungers and a large pool. The bar area is pleasant and open. The staff all aimed to please and were great when i needed medical assistance! I had a great 2 weeks even with my stort stay in a Palma hospital! I would definately recommended this hotel to anyone! :)

We have just come back after a week at this hotel, which has a superb location in the flatter part of the seafront at Santa Ponsa. It is very comfortable, well appointed and maintained, spotlessly clean and has good facilities. BUT - it is seriously let down by the buffet restauarant, where the food was invariably lukewarm and dried out, and where the main aim seems to get diners fed and out as fast as possible - you can't even get a cup of coffee to relax after your meal.
Another unfortunate aspect is that the bar staff are efficient, polite and pleasant, but stop short of being friendly, and the style of the lounge with groups of 4 armchairs round small tables makes it difficult to engage with other guests, and everyone just seems to keep very much to themselves.
In all we felt that this hotel had great potential, but for a holiday hotel, it is just a bit too impersonal - and the food made the inflight meal on the way home seem like gourmet cuisine!!
