Hoxton: Good quality, good value hotel with a good restaurant and bar by Paul Mcgahan |

The hotel is on a busy through road so rooms to the front of the hotel can suffer a bit from road noise.
The rooms are a reasonable size for London and are well designed with comfortable beds, high quality linens and towels. The showers are superb. Wardrobe space is a bit limited if you are staying more than a few days. The rooms are generally well made up, although on one day it did look as if it had been cleaned in a hurry and not much care had been taken with the bedding.
Service is generally very good and the restaurant offers good value food and wine.
I would definitely stay again and overall and it is definitely one of the better hotels I have stayed at in London.

Hoxton: An exciting new hotel near the City by Jean Adams |

This hotel is well located for the City and City University, London. It's new and trendy downstairs but the rooms are quiet and comfortable upstairs - if a little small. The decor is unusual enough to make think "that's kinda cool" - but not enough to get in the way. Lots of free Guardians (or red noses on red nose day) are a nice touch as is the fresh milk in the fridge for your tea. The breakfast service (OJ, banana and yoghur/granola/fruit delivered to your room in a bag) is just what's needed to get you going in the morning.
