We stayed in this hotel June 2004, I along with most of the people that stayed there suffered tummy bugs, I had to have the doctor. I have stayed in 2 other hotels and never suffered. The food is awful. The hotel is lovely to look at the reception and the bedrooms are spotless. The pool although I never used it was quite nice. The people were helpful. The down side to this hotel is the hotel is on a hill, there is a long steep walk down to the beach. The land in between the hotel and its beach is not cultivated, just a dusty walk. When you get down to the beach, you have a choice either the terrace, or if you want to go down to the very tiny beach with a jetty to access the water you will be so close to your neighbour that you will feel like a sardine. On entering the water the coral is fabulous, the fish amazing. The reef is actually a drop off, so you dont swim over a reef, but instead you look at it sideway, it is lovely and if you dont mind the fact you dont swim amoungst the coral you will love it. We would not return to this hotel or recommend it because the choice of food is awful. If like us you cannot fact the very long and steep climb back up the hill at lunch time you will have to settle for hamburger and chips every day, and the way the food is prepared same board and knife for the raw meat that is used to cut up the salad and bread rolls, it is not hard to see why most couple I spoke to had bad tummys. The loo is also a walk up the hill, so if you have the trots, you will literally be trotting up the hill in amazing heat.
