Imperial Palace: You get what you pay for by Yvonne Laughlan |

I stayed here for 4 nights and I couldn't fault it in any way. Again in comparison to most hotels on the strip ie Cesears Palace, the Mirage etc it looks pretty run down and doesn't have much to offer, however the other hotels on the stip are spectacular.
For the price I paid to stay here I thought the location is superb right on the heart of the strip.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable however could do with a bit of redecorating.
I'd reccommend staying here if your visiting Vegas on a budget or, like me would rather not spend huge ammounts of money staying in a plush hotel than spending slightly less for a comfortable place to sleep and have more money to spend. Vegas is non stop- everything is open 24hours so really wherever you stay is just somewhere to sleep. If I was ever to return to Vegas again I would definately stay in this hotel again.

Imperial Palace: Great Value and Location by Caroline Holroyd |
| Posted 13 August 2005 about a visit in May 2005 | Overall rating: 9.8 |
Previously I have stayed at Caesars Palace and the Luxor but when I got married in Las Vegas in 2002 some of the family stayed at the Imperial Palace and thought it was good. Having been to Vegas before we wanted more money to spend on gambling and a hotel with a great location and we got this as the package holiday to the Imperial Palace was a good deal.
Good points:
1. Great location
2. When it gets really hot in the summer they have a system by the pool where a fine water mist is sprayed over the pool loungers
3. The casino area is quite small and compact compared to the larger hotels so you don't get lost trying to find your way back to your room.
4. There was a balcony (quite rare in Vegas unless you can afford a suite)
The hotel could do with a bit of TLC in some areas (as an example, the sliding door to the balcony didn't lock and the bathroom had chipped surfaces) but if you don't pay a 5star price you won't get 5star accomodation.
Overall I enjoyed my holiday at the Imperial Palace and had no complaints about the hotel at all.
Note: When you get to the hotel it's worth getting an Imperial Players card as whenever you play in their casino you can build up comp dollars. Even if you don't bet alot you may earn enough comp dollars to get a free meal on your last night when the spending money has all gone!!

Imperial Palace: My stay at the Imperial Palace Hotel by Fraser Cameron 1 |

I stayed at the Imperial Palace for 2 nights and there is no way you could fault it. Great central location , clean rooms and friendly staff the only problem with it was you could get lost quite easily. As for the other reviews about this hotel i dont think you where staying at the same hotel i know its cheap looking but your not in vegas to stay in your room.

Imperial Palace: "Have a nice day"? February 2003 by Gordon Simpson |

Stayed here for 7 nights, in general for the price we paid we got our moneys worth. I've seen cheerier staff at an undertakers, well 75% of them looked as if they worked day & night. For a hotel situated in the Nevada desesrt the air conditioning had a lot to be desired, the out-door pool was closed & the queues for the lifts were unbelieveable. Las Vegas itself has gone down in my estimation since our last visit in 2000, mainly due to street vendors peddling filth all along the Strip 24/7! Still the town has to be seen to be believed.
