Just returned from our first visit to Banff. The Inns of Banff is a 10-15 walk from the centre of Banff and has a courtsey bus which runs every half hour until 10.15pm each day.
As a ski hotel it is perfectly adequate for its purpose - nice large rooms, a good restaurant and bar and the ski bus stops right outside the hotel. On the down side however we were disappointed by the poor ski lockers and lack of drying facilities for boots and gloves - the hotel is heated by hot air so there are no radiators in the rooms.
On the whole its a typical ski hotel i.e. no frills.

stayed here for two nights good size clean rooms but no air-conditioning which we could have done with as it was very hot!but we did have a fan.didn`t have time to use the pool but looked o k with plenty of towels.the hotel is on the outskirts of town ok if fit not for persons with walking difficulties,we went with my mum who has a dodgy hip so had to take the car everywhere but loads of parking and mostly free!good time had by all.
