We stayed a few days in this hotel on the club floor. The staff in the lounge on the club floor are very helpful and friendly. The hotel has no downtown location, probably two or three km along the corniche to the clocktower and the old Al Husn Palace. The hotel is separated from the beach by the marina. These beach facilities (chairs, umbrellas...) are open for the public subject to an entrance fee, therefore the beach can be crowded. The pool area is absolutely not attractive but the pool itself is relatively large.
There are several restaurants. We enjoyed an al-fresco dinner in the Fishmarket (Thai cuisine) almost on the beach and also al-fresco dinner in the 90 degrees restaurant (mediterranean cuisine).
