good clean hotel. first impressions weren,t good as it looked like a prison when in the courtyard/stage area .however on further investigation it was adequate for our holidays . the food was good, hot , plenty of it and as varied as much as possible for the price .we were lucky and had fantastic weather but do wonder what would have happened had it been raining as the main entertainment area is in the open and there are no lounge areas to sit in .I feel this is more a 3 star hotel and needs refurbishment to make 4 star.

We had stayed at the Isla Bonita before it became all inclusive. The food was really good and varied you could have as little as sandwich, or a full 3 course meal. The salad bar was really fresh and appitising. The entertainment was the usual type, but wasn't a weekly repeat! We stayed 10 nights with a variation each night. The bar closed at 11.00pm but you could stock up or go out depending on your mood and energy. We reallly enjoyed it.
