 Istana: A classy hotel but a little dated by Stuart Foster |

The Istana hotel is in a really central position of the city. The only thing that lets this hotel down is that it is a little dated and could do with a face lift.
Don't get me wrong it is still a comfortable five star hotel but and don't think it comes near to any of its rivals the Shangri La or the Pan Pacific.
It still has plenty of charm and I would stay here again but it would not be one of my first choices.
