The staff were pleasant and friendly,the food great and the bar well stocked. However if you want a comfy bed this really is not for you,this includes the sofa beds. Kitchen facilities are basic to say the least if you are going self catering. Make sure and take your toaster,hairdryer and iron as these are only availiable at an extra cost.
The maids came around every second day and did a great job,but not even they could cure the ant problem which was contained in the kitchen. The apartments really need updated,if they were this would be a nice QUIET place to stay.
If you are going call into Katie's Bar as the breakfast is a must for an English,Scottish or Irish fry-up,and the burgers aint half bad,with a great family at the helm.
Any excursions are not how they are made out to be,they are a real let down.If you can drive do so as this will ultimately save you money. I can honestly say i am glad to be back home after this holiday,something i have never said before.

I was looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, and happily this is what I got. The Jardin Del Playa is situated in a very handy and acessible location. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and even a decent supermarket within a couple of minutes walk but yet I was never disturbed by noise. Even though my balcony overlooked the main entrance to the block, I didn't find this to be too much of a problem. May be more of a problem during school holiday and other peak times, when the resort is busier.
On the domestic side, the cleaner on my floor was very pleasant and helpful.
My one real complaint about the whole place would have to be the ants!! They only seemed to be appear in the kitchen (which was partitioned off from the rest of the apartment) but it did mean that I couldn't put any food down on the worktops/sink etc. At any one time there would be a number of ants crawling along the work surfaces. It meant I had to be careful about leaving any food or dishes lying around or unattended for even a few mins. I suppose if they had really, really bothered me I could have gone out and bought ant killer!
If you hate ants this is not the place for you but otherwise, this place is pretty good. I would go back.

We stayed in the Jardin Del Playa about 5 years ago We liked where it was situated close to the square. We are going again this year taking the grandchildren Hope it hasn't changed much It was very clean staff were very friendly
