Juniper: All Inclusive no good by George Liddell |
| Posted 02 October 2008 about a visit in August 2008 | Overall rating: 3.9 |
Tour company rated Hotel 3star AI but only 2 inbrochure. Food very poor, and had to go to Siesta Hotel to eat. Breakfast was ok but same every day, lunch was barely passable and evening meal was obviously lunch leftovers served in a different disguise, would have been excellent for vegetarians. We eventually gave up and only went for breakfast, there are many excellent restaurants close by. The drinks side if the AI was ok except you could only get a large beer if you were B&B. Did not seem to understand that two hald pints made one pint. Rooms were very small for two people but reasonably clean though not perfect.
Staff in juniper on the whole were fine but cant say same for waiters in Siesta who seemed to favour B&B guests who obviously were paying for lunches & dinners, perhaps they thought AI customers were freeloading, forgetting we had already paid for the doubtful privelege of eating there. On the whole not a great Hotel, do not think i will be back. Next time we go to Turkey it will be self-catering or B&B
