Our family group consisted of 2 adults and to children. We only stayed the one night as we were catching the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris. The walk up the hill from the station to the Hotel was hard with the luggage but when we got there the reception staff were very considerate and friendly and went and fetched us some water each while we checked in.
After takig our luggage to ouir rooms we went to the bar and had some food and drink, the bar was good with plasmas to watch and the food was nice.
The family room was very good and comfortable and we all slept well.
We would definitly use again if we went up to London and found it value for money.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for three nights while visiting London to attend a football match over New Years. The facility is well kept and neat and the staff was attentive and helpful.
While my stay was OK, there were some points which I felt were less than satisfactory for a hotel of this quality.
1. Internet access, both wired and wireless is charged as an extra. Here in US, even the most basic motels have free internet access for guests. Considering the hotel rate and the relative inexpensive cost of internet access, that we would be nickeled and dimed as a guest was surprising.
2. Room Service: There is is none. We ordeed some food from one of the resturaunts only to find that we had to come down to pick it up!
3. Breakfast: While a complimentary continental breakfast is included, the choice of foods is limited. To make matters more confusing, hot foods (at extra cost)are in the same buffet area so guests are bumping into each other and are generally baffled on what you can take and what costs extra.
4. Car service to the airport: I requested information about getting a cab /ride to Gatwick from the airport and was informed that it could be arranged and the cost would be 53 pounds; the hotel staff said they would make th enecessary arrangments. Everything went well, but was told by the driver (when we arrived at the airport) that the cost was actually 60 pounds!
5. Check in: We have reserved a room with two beds. But it took two seperate trys to find one. Finally, one of the more senior staff, who obviously was a bit embarrased for sending us to incorrect type rooms, personally came up to lead us to a correct room.
Not sure when or if I will get back to London, but will likely stay at a different hotel.
