| Kalamaki Review: Great holiday in Kalamaki | | Written by Carol Wilson 1 on 10 Jun 2005 about a trip in Apr 2005.
| Kalamaki is a resort with something for everyone. The main strip has plently of restaurants including fast food, Indian, Chinese and Greek and loads of bars. There are bars with a lively outlook and virtually non-stop happy hour, those with kareoke if that's your bag and those with quiz nights. Most have tv's and you can even watch your favourite soaps from home if you are that way inclined, some have PS2 and pool tables. I preferred the places off the main strip, the restaurants were generally better (and quite often cheaper) and the bars also quieter and more relaxing.
The beach is sandy but if you prefer the pool, you can use any pool in Kalamaki.
There are plenty of places to rent cars or scooters and loads of places selling trips.
There is also a mini golf, off the main drag......turn down the road next to Denise supermarket and take the second on the left.
Great island to visit as well......try turtle spotting, the blue caves, the famous shipwreck and the water park. |
