Trip was for a couple on holiday. Lisa Johnson 1 would definitely visit again.
| I love Kalkan, we have been 4 times in the last 4 years and have booked again for September 2006. Each year it has got a little bit busier but it still manages to retain its charm.
The choice and quality of the food is second to none, there are so many places to choose from to eat from cheap and cheeful or you can go more upmarket.
The people are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. If you go out of main School holidays there are very few children there.
Unfortunately they are building a new road from the airport which will make it easier to transfer from Dalaman which will probalby mean more people going to Kalkan and maybe coaches (at the moment you transfer in minibuses) and at present a lot of people are put off by the transfer of 2/2and a half hours - so go now before it loses its charm.
Can't wait for September. Just wish I could go more than once a year. |
