| a lovely greek island with the usual friendly greek people. Very small though, IMO a week is long enough to stay there and see all there is.
Sadly there are a lot of very poor people in Kardamena, and they send their kids out to beg, pick pocket and sell trinkets so they can make a living. The image of children the same age and younger than my oldest child hounding people in bars is one that will remain with me forever. |
