| | Hi just got back. Kardemena has the best of both worlds within a short distance. As being a 40 something this worked out fine. Did the bars some nights and the quieter side on others. Everything is within a very short walking distant. Stayed at the Panini , which is basic but comfortable. The only gripe was that it had no air conditioning. The greek people are very friendly. There are lads and lasses that stand outside the bars ect that try to lure you in. That can get annoying sometimes, but they are only doing their job, and they are friendly. There are also a lot of locals (mostly children) that trawl the bars and try to sell stuff. Hats, cheap trinkets ect. All in all it is a good holiday destination and I would definately go again. |
