The View From the room

From the pool :)

This is was my first time in Thailand.

All was amazing. Everyone is nice and helpful.

the rooms are amazing, and very luxuries the beach is very clean and you can see and hear it from every spot. drinks on the bar very fun, very good food in all the hotel restorant's, amazing staff, we had masage on the poal and in the spa both are very good. everything you need is in the hotel.

out side of the hotel there are couple of good very cheep restaurant's, a nice store that you can buy milk for you cup of tea and all drinks and food, and a nice lady that sell amazing fruits.

***The Thai restaurant in the hotel is amazing the stuff is very kind and the food is amazing.

We will definitely come back again next year. same dates, same time :)

We are the biggest snobs and have such high expectations when it comes to hotels and resorts and in our opinion it was by far the best we have ever stayed in. This hotel was faultless.

We travelled to Thailand on 21st April until 6th May. The weather was brilliant (35 degrees and sunny) with only 2 days where it rained (we were worried as we were approaching the rainy season).

The hotel is divided into two - the Bhuri Wing which is set in gardens and the Thani Wing which is situated on the beach. We stayed in Thani Wing and I would recommend that you pay extra to be in this wing as it was far superior to the Bhuri wing. Nicer pools, restaurant, position etc.

Our room was a Junior suite. Our beds and towels were changed everyday. Our room was more than adequate and we had free bottled water everyday. People keep mentioning that their rooms had a mildew smell, but our room was fine.

The hotel pools were fab! Pure luxury. The one had a built in jaccuzi and the water temperature was perfect. We tended to wake at about 7.30am so there was never a problem in getting a sunbed, infact we had the pick at that time. Definately have a massage by one of the ladies that come around. They're hired by the hotel and are very cheap. For a 45 minute massage it's only about £4, they also do manicures and pericures. You also have free pool towels everyday.

The hotel is situated on the Kata Noi beach and this is by far the nicest beach on Phuket. The sand is 5* sand - pure paradise! The sea is an amazing colour and very clean. You have to be careful swimming on certain days though as it's very choppy and dangerous - the flags go up on these days, however, there were still people who ignored them.

Kata town itself was quiet so we tended to go into Patong for a lively night (Lady Boys etc - certainly an experience!). The Tuk Tuks are really cheap and are available from outside the hotel. It's about 100 baht (60p) into Kata (although you can walk, which takes about 10-15 minutes), 200 baht into Karon and 300 baht into Patong. There is the hotel mini bus that will take you into Patong for 300 baht - you have to book though.

We were bed and breakfast so didn't sample evening meals. The breakfasts were great. Lots of choice and great service.

Thai people are generally very friendly. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, but nothing special.

Definately get a Taxi to take you to the Kata viewpoint up the mountain. Amazing views over the 3 bays (Kata Noi, Kata and Karon). We would also recommend the Phi Phi boat trip. Don't book through your tour operator though as they're a rip off. We paid £25 each for the full day and were so glad we did it. We weren't allowed onto Maya Bay (where 'The Beach' is filmed), which was a disappointment.

I would recommend Mom Tri's Kitchen for an evening meal. It's just up the hill on the way to Kata and it's only a 5 minute walk. The setting is beautiful and is situated on the cliffs over looking the sea. Great for a special treat. Another restaurant we would recommend is 'On the Rocks' at Marina Cottages in Karon - the food is excellent and again it overlooks the sea. The Dino Park next door is great for a drink and try the crazy golf. For a very posh Meal out ask the tuk tuk to take you to the 'Baan Rim Pa' just past Patong.

We didn't really see any of the entertainment in the hotel as we went out every evening, but what we did see didn't look that great.

There is a shop just opposite the hotel, which was handy and reasonably priced.

This was the best holiday we have ever had. I would definately recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back! Just go - you will love it!
