| | Went to the lovely island of Kefalonia in June - Stayed in the Olive Grove Apartments which were clean and well maintained. Would suggest that if anyone wants to book Kefalonia that they strongly consider hiring a car. We hired a car from home on the net from Europcar. They were an excellent company and unfortunatley we had the misfortune to crash on a hairpin bend on the road to Fiskardo - Europcar came quickly to our aid, took us back to the town - Argostoli and changed our car with no fuss. We happily motored on accident free for the remaining week and a half of our holiday. We found the North of the island particularly breathtaking. We found dining out to be pleasant - in particulaar a taverna in Lassi called Sto Pisto which has enchanting views over the sea and the food is excellent and also good value. We found the Kefalonians very warm and friendly people. If you choose this destination for your holiday you will not be disappointed. |
