| Travelled to Koh Samui in April 2005, staying at the Nova Samui Resort which is approx. half a mile from the resort centre.
All I can say is that the resort was fantastic (although a bit too humid in April) , the beach was wonderful and the Thai people could not be more welcoming.
Finding air conditioned bars and restuarants proved to be a bit tricky, but anyone planning a trip to the Chaweng Beach area I would strongly recommend a visit to the Red Snapper Restuarant.
The food is great, the service fantastic and as for the resident house band.....well they were really good and certainly add to the experience.
Already planning a trip next year...but maybe in February when it's not so humid. |
