| My friend and I have just returned from a week in Kusadasi (staying at the Istankoy - thoroughly recommended) and we had an amazing time. Don't be put of by the predjudices surrounding the Turkish people - they were so friendly, helpful, and really want you to enjoy your holiday. The best beach is definitely Kuster Beach, (10mins by dolmus) - we found Ladies Beach dirty and overcrowded.
The restaurants were first class - more expensive as you reach the centre - try Selam Restaurant near the Marina - cheap but delicious food and wine. Nighlife is second to none - Bar Street is expensive but a neccesity!! Jimmy's was our favourite, also, Authentic, Kitty's and Orange - remember to ask for 'Buy 1 get 1 free'!!
I would definitely return there - as 2 single girls, we had a great time, but likewise - families and couples who we spoke also loved Kusadasi. |
