On advice from a friend, we booked a week at La Siesta.
Tried to book last year but the hotel was being re-furbished.
Having arrived at reception all hot and bothered we found that the reception staff was well short of adequate.
We waited 45 minutes to actually book in!!!
Accommadation at the hotel is top class. Very good and clean rooms.
Food was well presented with a good selection/variety was enjoyed.
The good thing about this hotel is that it is situated between the lively 'Las Americas' (turn right exiting the foyer) and 'Los Christianos' (turn left exiting the foyer).
Be aware of those asking if you are British and offering scratch cards.
These really are the scourge of any holiday maker!!!!
On reflection, we had a superb holiday and 'La Siesta' was very good.

I stayed one week at this 4 star hotel and enjoyed myself apart from the weather at the latter end of the week.(thunder storms), well it was February! It was the first time i have been away in February and it did not put me off. The hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were large and comfortable. The food and selection was inpressive (as my waist line will agree). The hotel itself was centrally located, close to beach shops and restaurants. I did get fed up with ticket touts, offering you scratch cards for time share apartments, they appeared on every street corner. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and i would definatly stay there again. I believe the hotel is being refurbished at present, i can imagine it will look fabulous due to the fact there did not appear to be anythinjg wrong with it to begin with!
