We stayed here after booking a long weekend via a local specialist Agent in 2007. On arrival we found the welcome to be the best we have ever had and the staff pleasant and helpful. Guernsey is a delightful island, and finding a hotel like the La Trelade made it just that bit more special for us. If you like good food, then book for the evening meal, or just use restaurant anyway. In truth, there is no point in eating anywhere else unless you prefer to hunt around (which would be a total waste of your time). We are retuning to the La Trelade in October (2008) and looking forward to it very much. We won’t be disappointed, and neither will you.
