Trip was for a group of friends on holiday. Mark Evo would absolutely not visit again.
| This is the worst greek island i have ever been. First you will have to wait well over an hour for your luggage this was not an isolated incidence it was happening to every one we spoke to. Second well you think the food and nightlife will be good you can live with the hour+ wait but it get's worst the food is s**t stayed for one week (THANK GOD) and did not enjoy one meal the ones which were the best of a bad bunch where for breakfast was robin hood 500 euro's for a full breakfast sevred all day. All so a good place for breakfast is st denis it is right on the beach and it's as much as you can eat for 350 euro's before 12 noon good view while your eating as well.( NIGHTLIFE )What nightlife ive had more fun watching paint dry no atmosphere now the bar staff in zero's and rescue are good at there job but when you have seen it a few times it get's boring. When all said and done there was'nt a place i enjoyed. The roads are death traps, the beach is also a road. Also finally when you are going home it get's worst still our flight home was at 11.15am local time we got pick up at 6.15am local now the airport is only 15 mins away this is because there is only 1 check in desk for your flight so you have to que out side when you finally check your bags in you have to go back out side and que for passport control so if you are flying home mid after noon you will be queing in the midday sun with very little shelter when you get to the departure lounge there will be no where to sit and the toilets are full of flys and very unclean. If you are going to laganas i really hope you have a good time/ if you are thinking of going don't i have backpack round greece and this is the worst try another island crete/kos/rhodes town/faliraki/paros/naxos/cyprus any where but don't waste your hard earn money here. visted laganas 10/08/03 to 17/08/03
