i loved this hotel it was great the staff were friendly
+ helpful a family of 15 of us went and we all had a great time the food was AWESOME there is a snack bar just across the road with a swimming pool (fare big)GREAT entertainment the rooms were good in size and VERY clean !!!!
it was sooooooo good that we have been twice and we think we are goin to go are 3rd time next year.For those who havnt been before the restraunt inside is closed at night in the inside but it is open outside then you can get food.There is kids clubs and things to do for adults like archery and obsticle courses etc

overall the hotel is nice and clean the staff are friendly and helpful you meet really nice people there and childeren can make loads of friends!!!!!

p.s there is also a wonderful view when you are stood on your balcony ... mountains... etc etc

Lagomonte: Good value by Sharlene Tasker

I visited the lagomonte for a week from 23rd-30th July, so it was the first week of the kids summer holidays. The hotel is a family hotel, so there are going to be alot of kids there, this didn't make any difference to us though, thery did run round mad , but it was only to be expected. We were on the top floor and the room was fine, clean, towls changed daily etc, but we didn't spend much time in there anyway.

The food was great, plenty of variety, excepted the dining room got very busy in the evenings and people que outside for it to open, very funny!

The only real complaint that I had was the sunbed issue. It was impossible to get a sunbed by either of the pools, people were boasting that they had got up 5 am to put their towels down!!! I thought it was the germans that were that sad!! But to be honest we just went the beach most days, which we got the free bus to and walked back (only about 10-15 min walk).

Over all the hotel is great, we got a good deal form teletext so we got our money's worth. Would recommend to families with kids.

Lagomonte: GREAT HOTEL by Birdy182

What is everyone on about, the hotel is just great, food is great, the bar staff friendly, i went out with my wife and two children and they absolutly loved it, i must admit there was a few children running about but that happens at every hotel, not just the lagomonte, for a good value for money hotel and atmosphere, choose tyhe lagomonte, its just great

i have to agree with everyone on this hotel. mainly because it has alot of good and bad points. The main bad point is really the out of control and downright rude kids. The way the bar staff were treated like slaves by most of the british. Manners cost nothing.
The staff worked liked horses to keep it clean, maid service was everyday, reception were very helpful.
We had a room at the back on the 1st floor and were awoken most mornings around 6am by kids running up and down the corridor banging on doors, one morning at 5.30 we had a nice fellow singing "oh what a beautiful morning" at the top of his voice, and another morning someone shouting " if i'm up you're all up" ( one of those times you wish you had a shotgun). we took refuge everyday in the jolly roger bar just 2 mins walk away. our little peace of heaven in what was really holiday hell.
i can't blame the hotel or the staff. they were great. However i can blame the english louts and irresponsible parents who let their kids, and themselves run riot, in what can be a beutiful relaxing enviroment. Thank god for Jan and the rest of the staff at the jolly roger. Jan even offered us her villa to sleep in as we were only getting two hours sleep per night.
Sorry Lagamonte but you're just not for us.

we stayed at the lagomonte in may 2000 we couldnt fault anything,the food was great,the hotel very clean and the staff very frendly,we loved the island just across the road which belongs to the hotel,where they did bar-be-ques every day.
