visited lagos de fanabe in feb. Can reccomend it with no problems-area is touristy but thats what you expect so near to las americas. having said that, its a nice clean town, well kept up,with many clean public toilets. There is every kind of food you could wish for and a lovely clean, sandy beach running in front of the whole promenade. The beach is 2 mins walk from the apartments and once inside, the complex it is quiet and peaceful. The apartments themselves are lovely, some more renovated than others, but all clean. The staff are friendly and guess what - they're spanish - so either learn to speak spanish or enjoy a game of 'charades' at the reception! I did'nt eat in the dining room there, so I don't know what it was like. The pool area is superb, there is no 'central' pool as it meanders around the place so that you can enjoy a relaxing swim. There was a ceiling fan in my room which was good as there's no air con, but apparently not in all rooms. Some ground floor balconies are directly over the pool so they feel safe. Overall for what you pay, its a lovely place.
