Me and my girlfriend decided to stop over a few nights in Hong Kong on our way to Australia. We arrived at the ultra clean reception of the Lan Kwai Fong hotel and were greeted by a very smart looking team of reception staff and a pair of bell boys whisked our bags away. We were soon shown to our room...
Room
Like the immaculate reception we were knocked back by the excellent standard of our room. The room was a mix of traditional chinese decoration and stylish mod cons including a decent size flat panel tv mounted on the wall. We were equally as impressed with the bathroom. The head on the power shower must have been at least ten inches across! There was air conditioning,mini bar and a phone.
Location
The Lan Kwai Fong, like much of the rest of Hong Kong island, is located on a rather steep hill. It wasnt a problem for us and cabs are very cheap but for anyone with difficulty walking i would recommend staying on the (flattter) other side of the water. Still the position of the hotel affords it excellent views
