Lassi Hotel: Beautiful island by Tracey Priest |

Me and my boyfriend went to Kefalonia for our first holiday together and absolutely loved it. The hotel was lovely and really friendly. We even experienced our first earthquake!! (Only a very tiny one though) We went in May and the longer we were there the hotter it got. We went on a trip around the island which I fully recommend. You get to see all the different villages and visit a man who is a saint and is wrapped in a coffin. Every year they bring him out and the locals kiss his feet (yuk!) in the hope that every illness they have will be cured. If you do go on this make sure you take some trousers and a jacket cos your knees and arms have to be covered before entering the chapels etc. We also went on a trip to Olympia and although it was a very long day it was also very enjoyable.
Lassi itself is very friendly. There is a chinese restaurant down side of the island on the way to Oskars bar which is fabulous. Oskars itself is very entertaining and they got me up doing some greek dancing which is knackering. I can see why the greeks stay in shape!! We got some stunning pictures and laid on the top 5 beach in the world!! Above all we have a brilliant time but its not the kind of place that has lots of nightclubs etc. Its quite a quiet place but its truly gorgeous!!

Good Scenery, but the Lassi is located at the bottom of a very tiring hill, it gets a bit much after a few days, nice place when you get in the Lassi though.
