| We visited Limassol in June 2002 and really enjoyed our stay.
Limassol is more or less one strip of promenade, beach on one side with a good choice of watersports, hotels and shops on the other.
We found the food was fantastic and that there was a good choice of nightlife.
The bar/club reps, who stand outside their venue in the evenings to pull in the tourists, can be very pushy and quite annoying but if your not interested, just be firm and walk on.
Careful if staying in a room overlooking the main road as it is very busy even at night and you gets lots of 'Boy Racers' zooming up and down.
It is easy to get a bus into the old town, they are frequent and reliable and it provides a lovely day out.
The weather in June was fantastic, hot and sunny without being uncomfortable. |
