| Lindos Travel Guide: Lindos

Trip was for a single traveller on holiday. Iain Wishart would definitely visit again.
| Lindos nightlife |   9.0 | Best of nightlife - well in June 2003 the dreaded dull R and B (HANG THE DJs!) had invaded Arches and Ampitheatre but Acropolis on the beach got it right with a harder clubbing music edge with a beat - 4 beats - none of that 3 beat insipid crap! The small but beautifully formed QUPES has re-opened and will be fondly remembered and revisited by Lindos veterans.
Pre-club bars - Antika still the best but do pop into Lindos By Night as the staff are all daft - nice place for a romantic drink if you ar monogomusly coupled! The staff are all a little crazy in there. |
Lindos attractions | 7.0 | During the day Lindos swarms with vistors from Rhodes and Faliraki - but most leave by boat around 3pm or 4pm leaving the village to those who stay there and the nightime visitors from (the now over-developed) Pefkos nearby.
In Lindos the small Pallas Beach is the most sociable - St Pauls Bay is rocks and only Italians go there. The Big Beach lacks personality. The best beach bar is Meditteraneo - best food, staff and above all chilled out music.......occasional beach barbie too. |
