| What can I say. I think Lindos is place eveyone should visit if their lifetime. You will never visit anywhere else like it in the world. I originally visted 10 years ago on a girls holiday, followed by another 3 vistits with the girls. The last 2 visits have been with my husband.
My first visit I though what have we here? A small quiet fishing village!! And why are we being dumped at a carpark and will our luggage be safe???
The accomodation is basic all you need is a shower & a bed.
The beaches are amazing, and the water is perfect.
Walking through the village is like being transported into a diferent world - nooks & crannies, Pebbled streets. A friend we met thought he was in Bethlehem!!! (he had just arrived and had 1 too many on the plane)
The people are the niced people you can meet, and year after year they remember you.
The restaurants are plenty, and with some fantastic views from the RoofTop Terraces.
I have met many new freinds from my visits and always seem to bump into someone from home you have met on previous visits.
I would say however not a place for families, though the Lindos View Apartments have great facilities now and 2 pools.
