| Lisbon Review: lisbon | | Written by Kerkennah on 21 May 2003
| just returned from a week in Lisbon. Good hotel the Almirante Reis the metro right outside. Metro very cheap 1 euro 40 per 24 hours. Bought the 48 hour Lisboa tourist pass which was not worth it as you cant feasibly use it as too much to do.
Restaurants were cheaper than I expected paying from £17 to £31 FOR TWO with haldf bottle wine. Felt quite safe but on this return visit noticed there were a lot more street people. They dont hassle you.
I cannot believe how relaxed and easy to get round on buses and metro. The people were friendlier than french or spanish people.
Best view point was from St George Castle and it cost nothing like a lot of places. |
