| I have been to Lloret four times, out of the seven Spanish resorts I have been to this is equal first with San Antonio, Ibiza. The nightlife is not as good as San Antonio, and there are far too many young Italian men for my liking. But where it really scores is the day trips. There are the obvious ones like Barcelona and Tossa, but my favourites are to Dali country in far north: Cadaques and Figueres. The only thing is the journeys are demanding, The coach to Cadaques takes about 3 hours and there is no toilet!
To relax in Lloret I get the yellow no 2 bus to Fenals (opp Bus station) its much more unspoilt and civilised than mail Lloret beach, though couldnt find any British style pubs near beach. |
