| Bringing new meaning to the word hot, I walked to the Nile as soon as we'd checked in and leant on the railing to take in the view .... and promptly burned by elbows. Probably wooden railing would have worked better here.
Really interesting place, and a fascinating culture - some of the vendors were a bit persistent, but so long as you are in the vicinity of another tourist who looks richer / more gullible than you do, a firm "no" usually does the trick. |
