| We arrived back from Malia on Saturday 16th August and have had the holiday blues ever since!!
There were 8 of us in total (all girls!) Me and my mate went for two weeks, while the others only came for a week!
Let me tell you this was one of the best holidays I have ever been on...even after Tenerife at the beginning of this year, Falaraki last year and Aiya Napa the year before! (Aiya Napa being the best - but Malia comes a very close second)
I don't actually know whether it was the place or the people that made it what it was but were all from West London and the majority of people were from South, East or West. Not saying that I didn't meet loads of great people from up north too.
I can't even begin to explain why it was so good...all I can say is I am in the process of arranging to work out there next year!!!!
I agree that most of the bars played the same music but there was a different atmosphere in each one. We would start at Babylon and make our way down, stopping at Cloud 9 (even though were well into Garage, R&B and hip hop) it was good for a laugh. We would then move on to zig zag, down to Havana then back up to Newcastle bar (for 3for1 instead of 2for 1 on the drinks) then if we could make it we would go down to Malibu bar and then Mailbu, if it wasn't too packed!!! This is how we spent most of our nights....by the end of it we were mash up and had to go to Planet burger or McD's to have some food to soak up the alcohol.
We envy anyone going out there now and all I can say is your going to have a wicked time....enjoy!
Anyone going to Malia from 20th July - 4th Aug?
