Marmaris shopping

Shopping is fantastic be aware bargains can be got just as easily in Town as in the weekly Market. Some shops stock better quality than others. Places to shop - Mustaf's 2nd right past McDonalds (exchange on corner) Nigels and TK Max (although staff in TK Max can be a little rude if you decide not to buy.

Marmaris nightlife

Nightlife is what you want. A quite drink watching the world go by, disco bars open until the wee small hours or cabaret.

If you can't find something of interest in Marmaris you are very hard to please. Talk of the Town in a great show but be aware the drink is very expensive. Have a few before you go and only buy one or two in the show.

Marmaris restaurants

A great pleace to eat. If you can't find what you likfe in Marmaris - God help you. Portofinos on the Main Road - Michelle from Scotland great friend. Taj Mahal for fantastic Indian - they do a great meal deal with a bottle of wine.

Take a walk along to the Harbour - Restaurants fantastic a bit more expensive but well worth the view of the yachts. Very romantic

Marmaris attractions

Beaches are not great - but water lovely in warm no matter what time of year. Historic sites in abundance - see Ephesus if you can a one in a life time visit.

The hotel is amazing, really big and very swish!! I stayed in a small hotel close by but walked past it everyday. We met a couple who were staying there (sept06) and they said it was really clean, nice and spacious but found there to be a lot of non english guests.

Hope you have a great time...happy 40th wedding anniversay
