Mediterranean Palace: The Blue Hotel by Steve Mills |
| Posted 14 May 2007 about a visit in June 2004 | Overall rating: 9.4 |
The Mediterranaen Hotel was always known to us as the Blue Hotel ('Cos it's painted blue) when our kids were young we could only afford the cheaper apartment, we used to sit in one of the bars on the strip looking at the hotel and promising ourselve that one day.....One day, we would stay their, and boy we dide, arrived Friday, treated like royality, nose up to the apartment dwellers (Joking) had a brilliant Saturday, went out for a meal Sunday, got food posioning stayed in bed until Thursday went home Friday, lost 11/2 stone, Tenerife is a great place to lose weight
My wife say's This hotel is the most superb hotel on the island, upon arrival in the room was a leather clad A4 size book as a keep sake of the Nostrum complex, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, there is a naturalist roof top pool that old nosey found (Steve). The bars and retaurants were top class, it is not a snobby hotel but a very friendly efficient and professional hotel, it's pools are vast and there are plenty of sunbeds and towels, the second pool just through a underground passageway had a selection of hair stylists (Bit pricey) restaurants and bars, this pool also had a spa pool, It would have been the holidays of all holidays if a certain person hadn't eaten some radsid steak in an Irish bar in Los Cristianos! Would I go again? Oh yes.......Not sure about Steve though

See above. The complex changed a few years ago now, so any more recent reviews can be found by looking for Mare Nostrum
