The hotel is clean and a pleasure to stay in.
We had an excellent room on the first floor with its own private sun terrace! The only small problem with the room was that the only English TV was BBC World...plenty of Spanich and Geman though.
There were a few dining options, but I wouldn't recommend them really. Eating in the hotel is good but more expensive and seems less authentic than going out and finding somewhere.
The heart of the city is a 15 minute walk away (to the cathedral), which is no problem by day but less desirable at night when your girlfriend is all dressed up. The area seems safe and well lit, so it's not a problem in that way.
Next to the hotel is a nice Italian restaurant that I would recommend higher than the hotel restaurant if you don't want to head out far.
The City is well worth seeing, especially during a festival. As much as I liked it, I won't rush back to Seville but will explore other cities. If I did return to Seville I'd certainly consider this hotel again (at the right price).
