This hotel was not bad, but the prices are very expensive at the bar and shop and you weren't alowed to bring food from outside the hotel from local shops. The rooms were very clean everyday and the staff weren't really doing any entaining which was a shame.
My grandparents had stayed there before but they said that the hotel had changed a lot.

I stayed here in August 2004 with my 11 year old daughter and found the staff lovely and the hotel is the best we have stayed in, staff did not even mind us rolling in in the early hours, we went back again in June 2005 with my friend and my 3 children - again you could not fault the hotel for the cleanliness, the staff had all changed this year though and were not as friendly. The odd days we did let the girls go in the pool they where always told to be quiet - lets face it we all pay plenty of money to take our families away and kids will be kids and enjoy themselves but you dont expect to have staff telling them to be quiet every half hour after all they were only making as much noise as any other 3 girls would. Was a little disappointed in the way the staff treated us and would probably not take our business there again on principle, after that we took the kids to the beach each day.

we stayed in this hotel when we visited altinkum and its the best we've ever stayed in. rooms get cleaned daily and are spotless and very spacious. the pool area is big with quite a big pool. it is bed and breakfast and breakfast is from 8am untill 10am. they do snacks during the day and meals in the late evening and night. the food is very nice, espeacially the cheese burgers and the sunday dinners. turkish night is on a friday night from 8pm, and for £8 you cant go wrong. you get 20 different starters set out as a buffet, then a bbq with lots of different meat, rice and potato. they have a turkish bely dancer, break dancers and the staf from the hotel do a show for you aswell. they also have a competition towards the end of the night. me and my friend done it and what can i say, how embarrassing, it was a good laugh though. well at least every 1 who was watchin thought it was funny anyway. jimmy is incharge of all the staff and is really funny, even when he's not trying to be!! adam is the head waiter sonic runs the bar and michael does a bit of everything really. watch out for adams dancing it is so funny. and watch out ladies when your just about to doze of by the pool during the day, michael might just have to throw you in the pool!! he's really funny and is always up for a laugh. he also organises bar crawls round bar street with guests staying at the hotel and some of the staff join you aswell, you should go on 1 it a good laugh. then there's sonic who is really sweet, he is quite quiet but once you get to know him and get chatting he doesnt shut up!! overall this is an excellent hotel which i would recommend to any one of al ages. hope you enjoy your stay at the meryem ana.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and I must admit is was a little unsure of what it was going to be like as on past vists we have stopped in one of the town center hotels. What can I tell you, well the rooms are the cleanest I have ever seen you get free air con(If you are with Thomas Cook) a very clean pool area and it not to far into the town center (about 5minutes walk)The best thing about it was the staff you could not do enough for you, The pool bar was very good with Jimmy (the Turkish Barry White) running it and Adam running the resturant. The food in the resturanr is fantastic and in my opinion the chef is the best in Altinkum. All in all a very nice hotal and a great staff, Would I go back! YOU BET. Give it a try.

I stayed here in May 2004. The Hotel is lovely and clean, decent size pool, staff are very friendly, and dont bother when you walk in at 5.30am after the disco!

We have been staying at the Meyrem Ana for about 4 years and have already booked for next year. Although they seem to have a change of staff each year we have always got on well with all of them. The bedrooms are clean and adequate. The pool is great and gets the sun all day long. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
