I stayed at this hotel in September 2008 with my partner and 2 children and we must say it was first class, the location was good as there where plenty of shops around us and the train station is only a few minutes walk away if you are wanting to travel to Barcelona for the day. We found that all the staff where very helpful and present at all times. We had a self catering holiday but did have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant at least once and we found the food and price to be reasonable. The rooms are a very good size and can easily cope with the 4 occupying it; we had a pool side view next to the lifts; with the building being completely wheelchair compliant. The entertainment in the hotel seemed reasonable but there was not many activities during the day for the children to participate in which on holidays has been good as the adults can have peace to sunbath etc. If you are looking for a lively night out then you will have to walk a good 15-20mins to the storm drain area of the town to get this but it didn’t really bother us too much as we where on a relaxing holiday. Good hotel and would recommend this to families.

I stayed at the Miami in 2001 an 2003. The noise from the street was was awful, so on the second visit we asked for an apartment on the pool side of the building.
Even so, we never got more that two hours unbroken sleep. The bar stayed open till at least 1 am, and drinkers spilled out into the pool area. Consequently noise swirled and echoed up to the apartments. Drinkenness was common and on two nights our apartment door was battered on and kicked at by drunken men. It was alarming. Folk returning from clubs at 3 in trhe morning were just as noisy and drunk.
We wenty for a rest, but management and holiday reps. did nothing to ease matters for us, despite a notice declaring that excess noise after midnight would not be tolerated. We came back ill from lack of sleep.
