| What a fantastic place! just as we imagined even down to the steam coming up through the pavements.
We were there 6 weeks before sep 11th.
Allow a day for shopping in macys alone its so big. If eating out avoid times square area as can be quite expensive.
If you want to get away from the noise of NY visit central park and its hard to believe that you're still in NY, its so peaceful.
If you like designer shopping the woodbury common is well worth a visit and easy book with gray line tours.
We stayed a week and didn't get chance to do all the touristy things but managed quite a lot but was very tiring as in July it was very hot.
If using tube think about a prepaid pass for the duration of your stay its easy to get about. |
