| I love New York soooooo much!! Mind you, I do love shopping!!
We stayed in Manhatten for 4 nights in 2002 and really really enjoyed it. I cant wait to go back!
We did all the toursity things - Staten Island Ferry (cheaper than the Eliis Island Ferry and you still get a wonderful view of the Statue of Liberty), Empire State (takes ages to queue so get there early, we queued for 2 hours at 4pm and it was dark when we reached the top - shame), Southstreet Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge, Madison Square Gardens.....the list goes on and on!!
We needed another holiday when we got back we were shattered.
Didnt have any problems with the New Yorkers, most of them are really friendly although they are always in a rush!
Be careful and aware as obviously being a big city there is a crime rate.
Also a good tip for saving money, we used the Subway loads during the daytime, you can get an all day pass for a really cheap price!! |
