| Mojacar Travel Guide: Mojacar Restaurants
| | Written by Mel Finn on 15 Sep 2008 about a trip in Sep 2008. Trip was for a couple on holiday. Mel Finn would definitely visit again.
| Mojacar restaurants | | AVOID 'El Antler'! After a few good reviews my partner and I decided to try this restaurant in Mojacar Pueblo. The woman owner was very bolshy bordering rude, the food was really average and there was even a cockroach running on the floor!! We were basically ignored for about half an hour after we had finished our main course, the owner obviously did not like Southerners just her fellow busty larey Northerners!!!! Such a shame.
Howeverm, that was the only dud meal we had. la Taberna in the village was outstanding, as was La Cabana, the Argentinian steack place is not to be missed on the Playa. Also, the service and food was great at the Bar Salada just along the beachfront opposite the main Shopping arcade, they do a Special set lunch for 10 euros including a free drink ....... the mussels were to die for! You cannot go wrong either with the House White anywhere .......... being a wine lover, this was exceptional at all restaurants, the Spainish obviously keep the good stuff!! |
