Just a word of advice - this hotel is used by school groups. I should know a took one there in June. So if you don't fancy spending your holiday with loads of teenagers, this is not the place for you. Apart from that, the hotel is OK and the staff are really helpful. It is also located up a steep hill and there are quite a lot of steps in the hotel so maybe not suitable for the less mobile.

I cannot understand why this hotel has so many bad reviews. My daughter and I spent a week here in June and had a wonderful time. There were several french people staying here at the time but we did not meet up with any germans. Nor did we encounter any unfriendly staff, most of them would go out of their way to help. Yes, the food did get a bit boring after a few days, but isn't this what you should expect in a cheap european hotel. If you want the Ritz you have to pay the Ritz prices. Yes there is a steep hill down to the beach if you want to take the quickest route, but there are alternatives. I was dreading this holiday because of all the negative reviews here but I was pleased with the place. Maybe some people just like to complain, but I will not be put off by the reviews again and would definately holiday at the Hawaii again..
