Nice is very familiar for us, but it is interesting to stay in different three-four star hotels. The location of Hotel Nice Riviera was good, close to shopping area, old city and beach. We appreciated nice, quiet and clean room with wireless LAN facility. The breakfast was satisfactory/good and the employees were friendly.

I last visited Cannes & Nice over thirty years ago to attend the wedding of a very good friend. His father bought him a membership of Lloyds Register and her father gave them the penthouse of the block he owned. The Nice Riviera was not quite up to this standard but it was quite excellent. Located in the heart of Nice, not far from the beach, it was quiet and comfortable. It even has a small in-house pool.Our room was of a good size, kept clean by a friendly staff and we were perfectly satisfied by almost all aspects. There was a blond dragon running the breakfast area who tried to insist where we sat, but we soon resolved this problem. I would just ask that they take a look at the breakfasts as, after a week of so, we were getting a little bored with the unvaried menu. The gem of this hotel is the Manager. He is a true professional worthy of the George Cinque. Senior management should look after this gentleman.
All in all, a very good holiday at a reasonable price.
