| Popped down for Bastille Day, with good old Cheesy jet.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the uniformed servicemen march by. Woof. (There were trained doggies too).
Had a superb meal on the beach front, but can't remember the name of the place. Actually after 3 bottles of something white shared with my chum Deb I don't remember a number of things. although we do have some splendid photos of us wading along the sea front, which does provide a more palatable explanation for my wet clothes.
I found the locals very friendly and much more tolerant of my French - i.e. letting me speak it rather than leaping in with their superior English after 2 sentences. |
