| Taking advantage of ryanairs new route from liverpool to nimes my wife and I
booked a few days at the hotel le baume,we were given room 306,the room from hell,the hotel had been recently refubished,but what we were met with was a room adjacent and overlooking a condemed property ,smashed windows,broken pipes,rubble ,rubbish you name it,it was horrific.the small balcony outside our bedroom linked directly to this property by a low wall and roof,the first thoughts my wife had was"vermin" mice, rats etc,it was so easy for anypests to walk across the wall and roof and jump unto the balcony looking for food. my wife and i are both pensioners and because of the time of day and being tired we decided to stick it out for the next few days.the hotel manager did not seem too concerned probably because we had only been charged an "internet price" moving on...i wrote a letter including eight photographs to the director of the hotels owners Erghot group complaining as of above ,after six emails to them i eventualy received a reply..eight weeks later,stating it was the councils problem,but if i ever booked this hotel again they will give me an upgrade .so much for customer service |
