Ola Hotel Bermudas: fantastic holiday by Joanne Mundy

i went to this hotel with my 2 year old daughter my best friend and her son who is also 2. we had a fantastic time at the bermudas and will definately go back and stay there in the future.

our room was amazing 2 double beds a bed settee massive wardrobes a dressing table what can i say the room was huge and plenty big enough for the children to play in.the staff there were amazing from sebastian on reception, to ly, sara and luis on the bar. our restaurant guys ali and alexandro who were great with libby and jake, our friendly chef raphael who came out of kitchen to see libby and jake most nights, and last but not least our wonderful entertainment guys Romain, Alex and Achraf who were absolutely fantastic.

we were the only english people at the hotel for our first week and the boys went out of their way to include us in everything and would translate everything into english so we never felt out of place for one minute our boys made our holiday extra special cheers guys.. the hotel from the rooms to restaurant to pool area was always clean and tidy. the facitities were great and the location couldnt be better out of hotel to the right was the beach and to the left a short walk to magaluff.... we found our visit was great value for money as everything you wanted was included with snacks inbetween meal times if wanted. we will definately be going back....

overall i would say hotel bermudas was one of best holidays i have been on. i visted this site before i went away and was slightly worrid as alot of comments slated it as it is a french hotel but we were made to feel very welcome and the food was amazing every day there was always fresh fruit a wide selection of fish and meat, salads, potatoes and desserts. even fussy eaters would have been ok eating here.

i would definately recommend this hotel to people who want a nice relaxing holiday away from all the noisy holiday makers that you come across as the hotel is quiet from 11.30 pm which is great but if you do want to carry on partying then walk outside and the party is out on the streets of palma nova and magaluff....

While I agree with the majority of things that "Sandra" has written I feel she highlighted the down side of the Hotel and failed to mention the good points.

For one the rooms were the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. We had 2 double beds and a single sofa bed, a large wardrobe and dressing table with enough room leftover to swing a numerous amount of cats!

Although the food was average I would say it was a good average as I have stayed in many hotels where the food was rubbish. The chef was there most nights carving some sort of roast which I always found to be excellent. I also put on around 1/2 stone while I was there so it can't have been all bad.

The pool was very busy with kids, I have to agree with that one but it wasn't too busy that you couldn't keep an eye on your children. The towels at dawn carry on should be sorted. In Portugal a pool attendant lifted towels of sun loungers not in use so that others could benefit from them when we were there. It saved any bother or arguing. Its also annoying when adults take sun beds for their kids who in turn spend most of the day in the pool then dissappear to the kids clubs.

All in all we had a great holiday in the "Bermudas", so great that we decided to return again this July 03. So watch out. I will keep you posted on any major changes.
