This was my third visit. The food was excellent, the staff efficient, and the pool/grounds lovely. If you are a family that wants to sit by the pool all day this is for you. My problem is that I am a single traveller, each time I request a high room, and each time I am given either rooms 126 or 130 which must be the worst rooms in the hotel. They are directly above the kitchen so there are very nastly cooking smells on balcony after 6pm. The rooms are always in the shade. The tiles in the bathroom next to the wash basin are baking hot making the whole bathroom unpleasantly stuffy. The bath is not big enough to drown a mouse. The rooms are near the beginning of the corridor so you are often disturbed at 5-6am with people either returning from a night on the town or early risers.
Next time I go to Lloret (which I love the Texas Saloon and Moby's, plus day trips to the Dali area of Cadaques and Figueres) I will try elsewhere. I srongly advise single travellers to give this hotel a miss.
