Orange: FANTASTIC!!!! by Anon Ymous |
| Posted 09 August 2005 about a visit in June 2005 | Overall rating: 10.0 |
I went to the Orange this year on holiday again and in 3 years it hasn't changed a bit (apart from recent refurbishment). The staff are fantastically friendly and Miguel on reception is great!! Emillio is good fun too, on the downstairs bar! The Orange is situated right in the centre of the English square but once you shut that balcony door you cannot hear a thing from outside. One bar not to be missed is the Plaza which is situated up a hill at the McDonalds end of Levante beach the caberet act on a Sunday and Monday night in there is conducted by the "Hostess with the mostess", "the babe with the balls" is the one and only fantastic CAMPUS! He is not to be missed! Also Danny Dean and Mike Curtis are very very funny acts but not for the easily offended! If your thinking of Benidorm for your next holiday, stop thinking and just do it. Believe me, you won't regret a single minute of it!

Orange: Good Hotel, wrong location. by Ronniet |
| Posted 17 May 2005 about a visit in May 2005 | Overall rating: 7.0 |
The Orange Hotel is a good hotel and has improved over the past two years. The rooms are clean and tidy, good staff, and a good selection of food.
However it is in the centre of the notorious 'Square' a haven for drunks, lager louts, and people selling strange substances, to say that it is lively is an understatement.
You may like 24 hour bedlam, you may like vomit on the street the next morning but to take a family thru this each night no matter how great the hotel is just not worth the hassel.
If you are in your 20s then this hotel is the place for you in the middle of the Square with bars, night clubs, kabab shops, chippys right on your doorstep.
If you are going with a family try one of the other hotels like the Rosemar or Ocas/Pelecanos.
